Meet Dr. Karla Duran

Dr. Karla Duran is an educator, professor, and servant leader in San Antonio for over 27 years. 

She is a first-generation college graduate, bilingual educator, & Latina with a Ph.D.

Dr. Duran reflects on the values that her grandparents, her “abuelitos,” have taught her that guide her work. 

She will continue their legacy of empowering others and sharing her story in order to connect with others through mutually shared experiences.
